Group Wellbeing Programme: for schools

The Art of Happiness

This evidence-based programme helps you to alleviate your stress and anxiety, so that you can feel calm, confident and motivated.

Kate is passionate about helping students become the best they can be. The MyDirection programme is a ‘prevention programme’. When students become empowered and learn about their minds and the effect that their thoughts have on their words, their actions and ultimately their lives, the less likely it will be that students will become anxious and depressed.

Kate creates programmes that fit with the particular needs of each group.  Students receive a series of  8 lessons which they follow up by actioning the various techniques they learn.

Examples of needs are:

  • Having the confidence to be your true self

  • Feeling like you are ‘enough’

  • Managing your time more effectively

  • Changing internalised negative self-talk

  • Dealing proactively with the stress of leadership

  • Finding a sense of purpose ( to help school leavers decide on career pathways )

Students - this programme is designed to help you to work out what values are important to you. ( e.g to be self-motivated, to act with confidence, to feel happier, to exhibit kindness to others, to have integrity at all times, to reach your potential in sport,  to have more balance in your life, to be healthy, to be creative, to reach your potential academically….)

You choose one value you want to focus on, that you may be currently neglecting and then set  goals accordingly.

The 8 week programme supports you in reaching those goals.  You will learn to have more of an awareness of how your thoughts and feelings can prevent you from achieving your goals; and you will learn ways to deal with these obstacles effectively.

By the end of the programme you will feel more at ease with yourself and with life in general. You will feel happier now that you know you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.

Would your child or students benefit from one-on-one sessions?
